Archibat Asia is looking for a Furniture Product Design Manager for an international furniture design brand. They provide custom-made and made-to-order furniture for worldwide hospitality, retail, and commercial projects, such as restaurants, hotels, and boutiques, as well as develop the in-house brand furniture working closely with the world’s top designers.
Duties: - Understand design intent for furniture items- Arrange drawing schedule and assign drafters for projects- Produce quality CAD drawings for loose furniture- Review drawings from drafters and offer feedback based on proportions, structure, cost, production, procedures etc.- Prepare design training sessions for drafters and other staff members Qualifications:- Rich drawing experience on loose furniture for hospitality projects- Familiar with drawing confirmation process with designers, and how it’s relating to production time frame- Understand how to use project specification, floor plans. renderings etc. - Have experience in managing large scale projects drawings with over 100 furniture items
